We were having back to school blues/summer fun withdrawls on the first weekend after school started so we took a day trip to Cedar breaks (only 1 hour from our house) I can't believe we haven't done it sooner. There were a couple of small hikes that were perfect for the kids and the scenerey was... well you can see for your self... awesome.
Kelly carried Ivy in her backpack the whole time what a trooper!
Here is an ancient bristlecone pine and a couple little nuts that fell off it
Josh holding up the tree
aspens helping too
Ivy was just as happy to find a little seat her size as she was to see the scenery

We went on the 75th anniversary of Cedar breaks so there were extra activities going on and we got into the park for free (how lucky can ya get?)
Our little family- how cute
These two were great hikers

After we went to brianhead peak and saw pretty much the whole world, then to the dairy freeze for dinner. It was fun trip.

Some of those look like portrait studio backdrops behind your kids. Looks like you had a great day...wish we could have been around to join you.
