The Christmas Season is offically here

On Saturday we went and got our christmas tree. We also found some snow and went sledding a little (about 2 times down the hill) then Aspen and Ivy decided we were freezing and we sat in the truck with 2 bawling kids for the rest of the time. (it was super fun)

Later that day we went to our ward Christmas Party and guess who came... Santa! He brought big candy bars which did not impress Ivy at first. She was thinking why are you shoving me onto the lap of this big fat scary guy?Aspen who agrees fully with Ivy about the scariness of Santa Clause refused to sit on his lap but was more than happy to stand a couple of feet away from Santa and tell him her wish list, and of course recieve a big candy bar.

and although Ivy was not a big fan of Santa, she was a big fan of the big candy bar, in fact she couldn't wait to get the wrapper off in order to dive in. (yum... that's good ruffage)
